YOUR FIRST VISIT – What To Expect

Your first visit is a critically important step in your journey to oral health. We will spend time getting to know you, asking questions about your dental history and goals for your oral health. We will provide a thorough examination of your Smile, Bite, Jaw Joint and Chewing System, Tooth Structure, Oral Cancer Screening, Oral-Systemic considerations, and medical and dental history. This examination will last around 60 minutes and will include any necessary x-rays, photographs, and clinical examination which includes intraoral and extraoral evaluation.

After your initial examination, we will discuss your specific risk factors and findings, and review any pertinent conditions that may require treatment. We will go over all treatment options, and provide financial estimates for any future appointments you decide on. After your first examination, we will enroll you in our preventive care program and provide customized recommendations for your preventive care. Many new patients leave their new patient examination feeling it was the most comprehensive and educational dental visit they’ve ever experienced.
